This £45m redevelopment included ambitious and driven plans to replace both the South and North Stands at this historic sports venue.

Completed in 2019, the scheme delivered additional seating capacity and facilities to enable the ground to meet future standards, including the construction of the new double sided North Stand which faces both the cricket and rugby grounds.

The terraces to all the new stands were designed and detailed by Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson including the terrace units, step blocks, vomitory walls, gable walls and stairs.
